00:00:10 – 1. Call meeting to order.

00:00:18 – 2. Prayer and pledge of allegiance.

00:02:29 – 3. Consider approval of the minutes of the June 17, 2019 meeting.

00:03:15 – 4. The City Council will have a public hearing to hear citizen input on the proposed Charter amendments to be placed on the November 2019 ballot.

00:29:15 – 5. Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a mailer not included on the agenda may do so at this time. Per the open meeting act, the City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

00:46:15 – 6. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize a service contract with Hibbs & Todd Engineering.

00:52:39 – 7. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize the joint election contract with Runnels County for the general election on November 6, 2019.

00:54:27 – 8. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize the Veteran’s day parade for November 11, 2019.

00:55:42 – 9. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize the opening of bids for employee health insurance coverage for the fiscal year 2019-2020.

01:10:36 – 10. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize the purchase of property located at 509 S. Broadway, legal description Lot 6, Block 65 – Original Addition.

01:20:08 – 11.The City Council may hear the monthly police activity report from Chief Stanley Maresch.

01:21:05 – 12. Consider approval of building permits.

01:22:09 – 13. Hear the City Administrator’s bi-weekly report.

01:22:14 – 8th street repairs started as of June 27, 2019

01:23:34 – Report on Bar-b-que cook·off event June 29, 2019

01:25:10 – Disc-golf material expected to be delivered July 5, 2019

01:26:46 – Water line replacement on 2nd street

01:27:15 – Demolition of two houses destroyed by tornado on July 1, 2019

01:27:40 – Demolition of putt-putt scheduled to start July 8, 2019

01:29:50 – Fund View conversion of General Ledger and Accounts payable in process training for payroll and utility billing scheduled for July

01:30:39 – * Millersview-Doole Water usage update

01:33:56 – * Update on Code Enforcement (Buildings, high weeds) progress

01:39:24 – 14. Hear request for future agenda items from City Council.

01:39:31 – * Chamber of Commerce re-location update
