The City of Ballinger Animal Control will be setting live traps for feral cats along 9th street between Sargent and Harris this Thursday and Friday, July 29th and 30th, 2021. Please be aware of this and keep your cats inside on Thursday/Friday if at all possible.
Animal Control will scan all cats for a microchip prior to any treatment, just in case a domestic pet arrives in one of our traps.
The Ballinger Animal Control Officer will be routinely checking all traps throughout the day, but please do not hesitate to notify dispatch if you see a cat inside of one of the traps. Early notification is good for all!
