The City has arranged four large roll-off dumpsters (two at the corner of 8th & Park; two at the Community Center) in town where limbs may be deposited. The City respectfully requests that anyone who has the ability to please place tree trimmings in these receptacles instead of placing them on the street or alley. This will help to stretch our crew efforts further, and keep our streets cleaner!
Please know, this is a temporary request.
Due to short-staffing, our Public Works Team is stretched extremely thin. We are remedying this situation as quickly as possible. However, while we are in this process of hiring and training – we are unfortunately (for everyone) running lean.
Thank you all for keeping this in mind and giving our crew members who are working extra hard for our City some well-deserved grace and appreciation!
